Waste
There is no set bin day.
All garbage is removed from The Village through either the disposal chute or recycling bin on each floor, the Red and Yellow Bins on B1, or household items placed on the floor of B1. The Village engages cleaners to move garbage and unwanted goods to the Garbage Maintenence room.
For Residents, there are no bins to take curbside, or any specific schedule to follow.
Household and large items can be placed in B1.
Those items will be moved on a regular basis into the Garbage Management room by the cleaners and disposed.
There is no specific council pickup time or organisation required.
Please do not place items on Chandos Street or Atchison Lane.

The Village is equipped with a Garbage Disposal Chute. Each floor has a small room which contains the chute which leads down the building to B1.
Only place small to medium bags, such as kitchen bin liners down the chute.
Do not place any of the following items in the chute:
- Cardboard boxes of any size.
- Plastic wrappings, such as with new furniture or white goods.
- Styrofoam and packaging.
These items will block the chute.
For any large items, please place them in B1.
Recycling
Place recycling in the floor bin within each level, or the yellow bin in B1.
Recreation
The Recreational Facilities (Gym, Spa, Sauna, Common Room) can be used between 5AM and 11PM.
The access doors are automatically locked outside of these hours.
For your safety and the comfort of all Residents.
Please:
- Only access the Recreation area between 5PM and 11PM.
- Access via security fob. Use your assigned fob, do not lend it out.
- Abide by the rules posted in each area.
- Remove all your belongings when vacating the area.
- Wear appropriate clothing.
- Leave your valuables at home, as no responsibility will be taken for your personal property.
Do not:
- Enter or attempt to use any part of the recreation facility if:
- You suffer from any gastrointestinal disease, skin infection or other disease that can be spread;
- You are under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
- You are not clean, or wear unclean clothing.
- You have a child who ordinarily wears a nappy and is not wearing an aqua-nappy.
- Consume alcohol anywhere in the recreation area.
- Take glass into any part of the recreation area.
- Run, push, scream or use offensive language.
- Prop open any doors.
Note:
- Entering the reception area constitutes as acceptance of the rules.
- The Owners Corporation may exclude your access should you be found misusing the facilities.
- The facilities are monitored by CCTV cameras.
- All children aged 16 years and under must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
- If you notice any issues, please report to the Building Manager ASAP.
- If you suffer any injury, please report to either the Building Manager, or Strata Manager ASAP.
- IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY, PHONE 000.

- Consult your doctor before you use the gym, if you have concerns that the exercise may impact you in a negative way.
- Take all your items with you as you leave.
- Ensure that you are wearing appropriate footwear.
- Bring and use your own towel.
- Wipe down any equipment you use after each use, with the sanitation spray and wipes provided.
- Stop exercising if you feel unwell in any way and consult a doctor.
- Remember that all children aged 16 years and under must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Do not
- Enter if you are under the influence of any drugs, alcohol or medical that effect your vision, or safe use of the equipment.
- Use any equipment that you are unsure how to safely operate, both in respect to your health, and in preventing damage to the machines.
- Sparr or box in the gym.

Pool & Spa Rules
Please:
- Consult your doctor before you use the pool, if you have concerns that the exercise may impact you in a negative way.
- Take all your items with you as you leave.
- Ensure that you are wearing appropriate footwear outside the Pool and Spa area.
- Bring and use your own towel.
- Stop exercising if you feel unwell in any way and consult a doctor.
- Take extreme caution if choosing to swim alone. It is recommended that you use the facility with a companion in case of any emergencies.
- Remember that all children aged 16 years and under must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Do not:
- Enter if you are under the influence of any drugs, alcohol or medical that effect your vision, or ability to swim safely.
- Run, jump, dive, push or horseplay in or around the Pool and Spa.
- Enter into the pool if you do not know how to swim confidently.
- Enter into the Pool or Spa if you are unclean. Please use the showering facilities on the floor prior to entering.
- Step on any pool filter covers.
Spa activation instructions:
- Press the GREEN button to turn on the Spa jets.
- The jets will turn off automatically after 20 minutes.
- Do not press the RED stop button unless there is an emergency. The pump will require re-priming, so please let the spa turn itself off under normal use.
Sauna Rules:
Please:
- Consult your doctor before use if you have concerns that heat could affect you negatively.
- Wear appropriate clothing.
- Use a towel to sit or lie on.
- Take caution if choosing to enter alone. It is recommended that you use the facility with a companion in case of any emergencies.
- Remember that all children aged 16 years and under must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Do not:
- Tamper with the equipment, plumbing or electrical systems.
- Pour pool or spa water on the coals. There is a tap spigot of fresh water on the wall outside the sauna. Refill the bucket using the tap only.
- Use anything other than the wooden ladle and bucket supplied. Never use plastic, metal bottles or any other container.
Sauna activation instructions:
- Press the leftmost button to turn on. A red LED on the right side of the panel will turn on.
- It takes approximately 20 minutes for the sauna to reach temperature.
- The sauna will automatically turn itself off after enough time has elapsed, unlike the Spa you may manually turn the Sauna off by pressing the leftmost button again.
- It is recommended not to use the Sauna for more to 10 minutes at a time. Please remember to stay hydrated.

Do not:
- Sit or stand on the table tennis table.
- Tamper with the table tennis table, other than to set it up or to pack it away.
- Remove any of the equipment from the common room.
